Western Isles Association for Mental Health

Western Isles Association for Mental Health (WIAMH) is a small locally-based charity located on the Isle of Lewis. The organisation embraces the recovery model and works in partnership with a range of statutory and third sector agencies to support people experiencing mental ill health and substance misuse issues.

As part of their service provision they run the Catch 23 Drop-in Centre in Stornoway.

Through the various activities and services provided within Catch 23 they seek to promote the mental health and wellbeing of the members of our community.

Activities include: arts and creative writing sessions, training, gardening, healthy eating, access to the internet, a weekly community psychiatric nurse drop-in, volunteering opportunities, sign posting and information, public engagement and awareness raising events.

Office opening hours are 9-4pm weekdays.
